Shrink Wrapped Kids

Jan 01, 1970 / General

Practically everything you purchase these days comes in a protective shell. The covering is designed to keep out dust and dirt, and to protect the contents from damage. Many of us parent the same way. We wrap our children up to protect them…we want to keep them isolated from harm and potential hurt. We have car seats, bumper guards, and baby wipes. As they grow, we try to keep them from bad influences and poor decisions. All good things, but sometimes, we go too far. A child shouldn't live isolated from their surroundings. Protect your kids, but just like the stuff you buy at the store…their purpose can't be fulfilled until the wrapping's removed. See what author, Francis Chan says about suffocating our children in this video.
