How to Fight Conflict in Your Marriage

Mar 10, 2015 / Communication

Let’s face it: All couples fight. And whether it’s a small disagreement or a huge argument, it’s important that you and your spouse learn to work things out together. So here are 3 ways to fight conflict in your marriage. First, accept that there will be conflict in your marriage. The sooner you accept that conflict is unavoidable, the sooner you can look for solutions. Second, avoid conflict as much as possible. For example, when you want to talk about something serious, make sure you do it at the right time. Finally, when conflict does occur, don’t ignore it. Instead, address it. Be sure to sit down and calmly identify what the real issue is and then deal with it. And listen to the Family First podcast on how to fight conflict in your marriage.
