When to Say “No” to Good Things

Jan 17, 2019 / Family Living

It’s hard to say “no” when someone asks you to help for a good cause or a good thing. But, to protect what’s most important, time with God, your spouse, your kids and grandkids, it’s good to say “no” sometimes. So to help you to know when to say “no,” here are practical questions to ask yourself.  First, “Is this something that I’m uniquely equipped to do?” You need to determine if your gifts and talents are needed to get this job done. If not, perhaps someone else can do it. Second, “Am I passionate about doing it?” In other words, do I really and truly care about it? Here’s more information to help you to determine when to say “no” to good things
