Mar 03, 2014 / Coping & Loss

Experiencing divorce is painful. Experiencing divorce with children can be even more painful. Not only is it a time when you must find the strength to move forward, but also a time when you must provide strength for your kids to move forward.  Author Tammy Daughtry shares advice for helping kids heal in her book, “Co-Parenting Works!  Helping Your Children Thrive After Divorce.”  First, she explains the importance of keeping your kids in the same school, if possible.  Second, she says to make every effort to allow them to continue in their extracurricular activities…football, baseball, band, dance, piano and so on.  Here are the rest of the 6 Ways to Help Kids Cope with Divorce.
