The Importance of Pain

Oct 11, 2011 / Family Health

A friend of mine has a child who was born without the ability to feel pain. Because of his condition, he's burned his hand on the stove without realizing it. He's also broken his leg after jumping off the couch. If he could feel pain, he could learn from each experience. Pain is a teacher for us all. It can protect us physically…mentally…emotionally…financially. It can teach us discernment and wisdom, and how to correct ourselves to prevent future pain. Whether we learn from our own pain or from witnessing the pain of others, the experience can help us live a better life.
